I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and Child Mental Health Specialist in private practice serving the families and children around Lakewood, Washington.  I have enjoyed working with children in early education for nearly 30 years and have been privileged to experience many wonderful milestones in their lives.

I was born in the Puget Sound area and graduated from Stadium High School (Go Tigers!). I completed my undergraduate work in Psychology at Ashford University and completed my graduate work in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.

In between my studies and raising a family (yes, I was a stay-at-home dad!), I had the opportunity to travel to many countries around the world to soak up their history and culture. For some time, I lived in South America in a volunteer program, where I met and married my wife, and learned to speak Spanish. Among my pastimes are reading, traveling, scuba diving, and enjoying the support and love from my family.
